
The summer of 2018 I drove from Van Nuys, CA to Decatur, GA in a plate-less Hyundai Elantra. No one batted an eye, not even the countless troopers I saw along the way. Proof that southerners think it’s rude to pry.
Since then I’ve called The Big Peach sort-of home.
